World Toy Camera Day 2007
The Captains Flat mine site is an amazing place — my previous interaction with it involved high pressure cleaning of the dump bins as part of a rehabilitation project, so we could stop the toxic leaching of residue from the old mining days into the soil. It's much cleaner taking photos.

I'm so glad that everyone made it out to my litte neck of the woods. And while still a tad embarassed about my shocking hanover glad it didn't get in the way. next time we come this way I would love to show you LOWDEN FORREST PARK... very beautiful place and great to go in summer becouse it is on the sth face of the moutains.
I'll make sure that you won't forget to bring us to Lowden Forrest Park come summer! Love your "little neck of woods".
And l agree with Susan about the vintage look of your image. Like some old battleground still in its ruins.
