Tested Patriotism

Lorna Sim
Red, White and Blue

I came across this wall along one of the streets of Sydney, plastered with torned posters, reflecting someone trying to rid it of all the bills posted there. Apparently, the person who did the stripping must have felt a pang of disloyalty, which prevented her/him from tearing off that little corner showing the Australian flag. Just as well I had my camera eyes on full alert for anything red, white and blue throughout my Sydney trip, otherwise I'm sure I'd have missed this little act of patriotism.

Something about this really grabs me. I love the effect of the blur and tearing.

You've got a great eye! The colors and textures and blur are all terrific. It really is interesting that the corner of the flag was left alone.

I love how you broke the rules on this one
